Jenny Kennedy

I first began studying yoga in 1993 and found it gave me great solace from a busy lifestyle.
I have experienced the teachings of many excellent teachers including Swami Premananda.

I began teaching Hatha Yoga as a student teacher at the University of Manchester in
September 2002 qualifying through the British Wheel of Yoga in May 2005.

My style of teaching is influenced by the T.Krishnamacharya tradition whereby the breath is
considered central to the practice and thus yoga can be adapted to suit anyone regardless
of age or physical ability.

Inspired by the birth of my son in August 2004, I completed the British Wheel of Yoga's
Pregnancy Module and began teaching 'yoga for pregnancy' in February 2006.
The module was delivered by Wendy Teasdill, author of 'Yoga for Pregnancy'
and one of the U.K.'s pioneers of this specialised form of yoga.

My son now has two beautiful sisters and my children continue to inspire my teaching every day.

Many thanks also to all my students, past and present, who've attended my classes and
thank you to the lovely mums and babies who posed for the photographs!

Om Shanti
